Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the partners at Crosby & Crosby LLP, the attorney will be responsible for:
- Managing Their Caseload:Â Taking ownership of a diverse caseload of family law matters and ensuring each case is handled with care and professionalism.
- Representing Clients:Â Advocating for clients’ rights and interests at status dates, pre-trial conferences, and hearings with integrity and dedication.
- Drafting Legal Documents:Â Crafting pleadings, motions, orders, judgments, and other case documents accurately and effectively.
- Communicating with Clients:Â Providing timely and respectful responses to clients’ legal inquiries, offering them support and guidance throughout the legal process.
- Conducting Legal Research:Â Performing thorough legal research to develop tailored legal strategies for each case, with a focus on achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Utilizing Case Management Software:Â Efficiently managing case files, deadlines, and client communications using software such as Clio.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois.
- Strong litigation skills with experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
- Familiarity with case management software, preferably Clio.
- Commitment to treating all team members with respect and professionalism.
